They said….

she was a mere bookworm on the sidewalk.

she couldn’t ever be a Cinderella in a play.

she could act like a man just fine in a live crib.

her duskiness, was a dismay.
I say…

She wasn’t meant to fit your lowest estimates.

She wasn’t a choice for you to make.

She was caramel, make no mistake,

sweet, rich, delightful and arrogant to venomous hissing snakes.

Her sidewalks, was where you stood criticising,

Her road, was a journey,

from what you doubted,

to what she had trouble accepting.

And that acceptance,

is love for herself,

withdrawn from your savage.

She wasn’t ever meant to fit in Ella’s shoes,

She was meant to hold her crown,

much higher than your cursed life cage

All that was said, confused her more,

buried were mysteries waiting to pour,

deep thoughts, serious words,

wrecked havoc with her fears,

Insane were the expectations,

tearing apart her soul,

what would it be like,

had she been in a different role ?

Lil steps,

a few more days,

awaiting her freedom rays,

Deep breaths,

some more courage,

She could withstand

the coming haze.

Mind traps.

Failing the ‘n’th time,

reminded me of all that I did wrong,

knowing the approaching storm,

I can’t help feeling trapped too damn long.

The disease of procrastination had drugged me,

Even though I knew the way out,

I couldn’t find it.

But just today,

facing the inevitable made me see,

through the cracks of my shredded perseverance,

that I needed to reach above,

So He could give me deliverance,

from the not good enough, to the bad vibes,

from the doomed starts to the Can’t survive.

All these are mind traps,

weaved by the devil so specialized,

It’s time to break free and stop self criticize.

A Legacy richer than Gold.

Here is an abstract of the story of a man who gave his daughter the finest riches the world can ever have. Words spoken through actions. They might be what we hear everyday, see everyday, BUT fail to LISTEN, fail to OBSERVE.

All she had to do was ask, and he would GIVE. He would leave no stone unturned, sweat through the days and plan through the night, So that his Princess would learn to live wisely and beautifully.

She would often wonder, “What kind of Man is her father?” “What kind of Man gifts his dream to his daughter?”

A man who’s Heart is the purest gold, that burns in love for her.

A man with such zeal & determination to have everything from nothing.

A man who wins her heart over & over again & yet makes her wonder – Will she ever find another one- so same?

So that someday she can pass on this legacy she received,so unknowingly ::::

CHERISH every small- big gift you have. Start counting your treasures, and you will realise how rich indeed you are.

FIGHT against all odds, to get not what you desire but what you most deserve.

BE PATIENT, WISE & CALM during storms. DO NOT RUSH.

When you are distracted, DIVERT YOUR ATTENTION to what gives you strength. FOCUS on your goal.

Whenever you are knocked down all over again, REMEMBER

YOU HAVE IT IN YOU- TO RISE- EACH TIME- YOU ARE SLAMMED DOWN.

THROUGH HUMILIATION – comes STRENGTH.

THROUGH CRITICISM – you realise YOUR WORTH.

THROUGH HARD-WORK – you step nearer to your DREAM.

THROUGH LOVE – you attain PEACE & HAPPINESS.

THROUGH GOODNESS –you spread smiles & sleep with a BEAUTIFUL CONSCIENCE.

THROUGH STORMS – you are more POLISHED & SHARPENED.

A DIAMOND is nothing but a POLISHED STONE.

YOU CAN SHINE. BELIEVE. LET GO. MOVE forward with a ZEAL to CONQUER your dreams.
